Samsung is reportedly gearing up for the launch of its next-generation foldable smartphones, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. As reported earlier, both devices are expected to be unveiled during the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. Ahead of the launch, several leaks and rumours surrounding the launch of the Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 have started popping up on the internet.
The latest report suggests that both foldable smartphones have been listed on the NBTC certification website. Let us take a look at the NBTC certification details of the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 NBTC Certification Details
Reliable tipster Mukul Sharma has spotted both Samsung Galaxy foldable smartphones on the NBTC certification website. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is listed with the model number SM-F936B/DS, while the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 bears the model number SM-F721B. Apart from the confirmation that both smartphones are now NBTC certified, the listing doesn’t reveal any other details related to the devices.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4: What We Know So Far
Based on previous leaks, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is said to flaunt an identical design as that of its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. The device will reportedly make use of the flip-style folding mechanism, aluminium chassis, and a glass back. As for the other specifications, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is reported to feature a 6.7-inch display with a centrally-aligned punch-hole camera cutout. The cover screen of the smartphone is expected to be larger than the existing model. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 might come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

Coming to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, a storage variant of the device was recently leaked online. The smartphone will reportedly arrive in a 1TB storage model. The device will most likely come with an sAMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. We can also expect the handset to feature a better display than its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. Similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
