Samsung Rolls Out Android 13-Based One UI 5.0 To The Galaxy S21, S20, And Note 20

Samsung had recently rolled out the Android 13-based stable One UI 5.0 software update for the Galaxy S22 series in India, Europe, and South Korea. As promised, the update is now being released to Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, and Note 20 devices in European regions. However, the Galaxy S21 series owners residing in Germany have reportedly received the latest One UI 5.0 update ahead of other countries.

For Samsung Galaxy S21 series the update is being rolled out via firmware version G991BXXU5DVJC. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra are receiving the One UI 5.0 update via software version G996BXXU5DVJC and G998BXXU5DVJC, respectively.

Similarly, the 4G Galaxy S20 and S20+ appear to contain the version number G98xFXXUFGVJE, while the Ultra gets G988BXXUFGVJE. Meanwhile, the 4G Note 20/Ultra comes with version N980FXXU5GVJE, with the 5G versions rolling out with N98xBXXU5GVJE.

As for the changelog, the latest One UI 5.0 software brings along the most customizable software for users with new features such as stack widget, RAM Plus customization, new animations, transition effects, new gestures, AR emoji feature, detailed Wi-Fi diagnostic tools, new clock styles, wallpapers, and the ability to trim down a video, and much more. Besides, the latest update also brings along the October 2022 security patch for the Galaxy S20 Note 5G and Note 20 Ultra 5G devices.
