Sennheiser has added its latest Sport True Wireless earphones to its lineup. These new earbuds take all the goodness of the Sennheiser CX True Wireless earphones and add sports fins to them. The Sport True Wireless earbuds come with an IP54 rating for splash/ dust resistance, enhancing its durability even further. In comparison, the CX True Wireless earbuds come with IPX4 certification, which lacks dust resistance.

The brand says they come with an Aware EQ passthrough setting. This allows the wireless earbuds to filter out the noises from your own body, such as heartbeats or footsteps, which makes it a perfect choice for athletes. Also, the IP54 rating will protect it from sweat when you are working out.
The Sennheiser Sport Wireless earphones come bundled with three sizes of ear adapters and four fins to help you find a comfortable fit. They lack ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) but still come with an awareness mode. You can use this mode to allow the ambient sounds to pass through when you are out on the road or want to have a conversation with someone in person.
These TWS earbuds utilise Bluetooth v5.2 for enhanced range and reliable connectivity. They support SBC, AAC, and AptX audio codecs. You can tinker with its EQ settings via an app. Additionally, you can adjust the external sounds filtering through and create custom EQ presets in the Sennheiser Smart Control app. The app is available for Android and iOS devices.
The earbuds are rated to last for nine hours independently. It can be extended further via the charging case.

The Sennheiser Sport Wireless earbuds are available for pre-order for $130 (approx. ₹9,950), and will start shipping on May 3, 2022. There’s no word about its availability in India yet.
