A few weeks back, Sony introduced the Bravia XR A95K, A90K, and A80K OLED TVs at CES. Today, the company has introduced a new TV model in the Bravia lineup, dubbed as the Bravia A75K Smart TV. This new offering from Sony boasts of a 4K OLED display and has features such as XR OLED Contrast Pro, XR Triluminos Pro, and Auto Low Latency. The Sony Bravia A75K will be available in market in two display sizes—55-inch and a 65-inch. These new TVs are powered by Sony’s Cognitive Processor XR and feature two HDMI 2.1 ports. Powering this new TV is the Cognitive Processor XR. Sony claims that the processor helps in delivering “real-life depth and pure blacks in every scene” and reproduces “content the way humans see and hear”.
Furthermore, Sony’s XR OLED Contrast Pro is said to analyze visual information and enhance picture quality. It also has features such as XR HDR Remaster, XR Triluminos Pro, XR 4K Upscaling, 4K XR Super Resolution, 4K XR Smoothing, and XR OLED Motion. The TV runs Google TV OS and it also includes a host of OTT apps.
The Sony A75K TV features two HDMI 2.1 ports. It has an Auto Low Latency Mode that can automatically recognise when a console is connected to the HDMI 2.1 port and is powered on, says Sony. The TV is also compatible with the PS5. The other key features that the TV offer include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistant support, Chromecast support, Acoustic Surface Audio technology, and Dolby Atmos.
