Sony has introduced its massive 85-inch Bravia XR Z9J TV in India. It has a minimalistic design with metal bezels. The TV is based on LCD technology with full-array LED backlights for local dimming. In such an arrangement, the TV comprises hundreds of LEDs divided into several dimming zones. Depending on the scene, these dimming zones increase or decrease the brightness in different parts of the screen. Thus, improving the contrast of the panel. According to the company, the Bravia XR Z9J TV matches the sound with its position on the screen. It supports Dolby Atmos and DTS Digital Surround.

To power the smart features, Sony has opted for the Android TV platform. It is fully compatible with Google Voice Assistant. The TV can also work as a smart hub for your gadgets such as lights, security cameras, and robotic mops. The set has four HDMI 2.1 ports, one headphone jack, two USB Type-A ports, and single composite video input.
