The headphones are made out of high-quality plastic and have a dedicated bass duct with increased air-tightness between the driver units and eardrums. This further helps in creating precise, punchy sounds, according to the company.
These headphones are powered by 40mm driver units with a frequency response of 20Hz–20,000Hz and an impedance of 48 ohms. The headphones use Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity and support SBC, AAC, and LDAC Bluetooth codecs. The LDCA code helps with providing a punchier sound on Android devices, while the AAC takes care of iOS users. The XB910N also gets two built-in microphones and Precise Voice Pickup Technology for crystal-clear voice calls.
Other features include support for Swift Pair, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Multipoint connection. Talking about the battery, the Sony WH-XB910N has a claimed battery life of up to 30 hours with the noise cancellation turned on, and up to 50 hours with the noise cancellation turned off.
