Tecno Camon 18 With Helio G85 Processor, 48MP Selfie Camera Launched In India

After launching the Tecno Spark 8T smartphone in India last week, Tecno has introduced a new smartphone in the Camon series, dubbed as the Tecno Camon 18 in India today. The new smartphone from Tecno arrives with a 6.8-inch Full HD+ display. The device features a 48MP triple-camera setup and a 48MP selfie camera. Under the hood, the Camon 18 is powered by an octa-core Helio G85 processor. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery that has 18W fast charging support. Tecno Camon 18 Price In India, Avaibility

The Tecno Camon 18 is priced at ₹14,999 in India. The device comes in a sole 4GB + 128GB RAM storage configuration. The handset can be purchased in dusk grey and iris purple colour variants from December 27 via retail and online channels.

The Tecno Camon 18 features a 6.8-inch display that has Full HD+ resolution. The display has a 396 PPI pixel density, maximum brightness of 500 nits, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Powering the device under the hood is MediaTek’s octa-core Helio G85 SoC. The smartphone packs 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the software front, the device boots Android 11 out of the box with HiOS 8 on top.

On the rear side, the device sports a triple-camera setup. The camera module includes a 48MP main sensor, a 2MP depth camera, and an AI lens. The rear-facing camera has features such as slow-motion, night video mode, video bokeh, and 2K video recording. The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Connectivity-wise the handset has features like dual-SIM card support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port.

The Tecno Camon 18 features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and has face unlock support. When it comes to the dimensions, the handset measures 168.9 x 76.7 x 8.8 mm.
