Tecno has launched a new budget smartphone—Tecno Spark 8T—in India. This latest smartphone is the successor to the Tecno Spark 7T that was launched in India in June 2021. The Tecno Spark 8T’s features include a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display, an 8MP front-facing camera, an octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery. The Tecno Spark 8T’s price is ₹8,999. It comes in just one version: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. The device comes in four colour variants: Atlantic Blue, Cocoa Gold, Iris Purple, and Turquoise Cyan. The smartphone can be pre-ordered from Amazon, and it will go on sale in India from December 20, 2021.

The Tecno Spark 8T has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution, an aspect ratio of 20:9, a 91.3% screen-to-body ratio, and 500 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the Spark 8T is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. The handset also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion. On the software front, the Tecno Spark 8T runs HiOS 7.6 which is based on the Android 11 version.

The device features a dual-camera setup, which includes a 50MP primary camera and an AI lens. The rear-facing camera has Portrait Mode, Video Bokeh, and Smile Shot features. On the front, the Tecno Spark 8T has an 8MP selfie camera, accompanied by a dual-LED flash. Connectivity features of the phone include a dual-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
