Last week, Tecno launched the Tecno Pop 5 LTE smartphone in India. Today, the company has introduced yet another handset in the Tecno Pop series dubbed as the Tecno Pop 5 Pro. This latest offering from Tecno arrives with a 6.52-inch HD+ display and features an 8MP dual-camera setup and a 5MP selfie camera. It packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device runs Android 11 Go Edition out of the box. Let us take a look at the pricing and specifications of the handset.

Tecno Pop 5 Pro Price In India, Availability

The Tecno Pop 5 Pro is priced at ₹8,499 in India. The device will be available for purchase through all leading offline retail stores starting today. The handset will be sold in Deepsea Luster, Ice Blue, and Sky Cyan colour options.

The Tecno Pop 5 Pro flaunts a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display that has HD+ resolution. The display panel has a standard 60Hz refresh rate, a pixel density of 269 PPI, 480nits peak brightness, and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. The display features a waterdrop notch which comprises of a selfie camera. The smartphone runs Android 11 Go Edition out of the box. The smartphone’s HiOS UI also includes features such as Vault 2.0, Smart Panel 2.0, Kids Mode, Social Turbo, Dark themes, Peek Proof, Voice Charger, Anti-Theft alarm, and many more.

As of now, Tecno has not revealed any details of the processor that will be powering the Tecno Pop 5 Pro. The device packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The handset also has microSD card support for further storage expansion. In terms of imaging, the device flaunts a dual-camera setup, which includes an 8MP primary camera and an AI lens.

For selfies and video-calling, the device features a 5MP selfie camera. It also has an IPX2 rating for water resistance. The handset is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery that can reportedly offer 54 hours of talk time or 120 hours of music playback. The device also has Battery Lab and Ultra Power Saving modes which provide very long battery backup with intelligent optimizations.
