Tecno has announced the Tecno Spark 8C, the company’s latest Spark series smartphone. The Spark 8C is the budget device from Tecno that comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ display and a 90Hz refresh rate. It also features a water-drop-shaped notch that consists of a selfie camera. The smartphone packs up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device boots Android 11 Go Edition out of the box. The device ships with up to 4GB of RAM and packs 64GB of internal storage. The exact details of the processor which powers the Spark 8C isn’t known as of now. However, it is being speculated that the device uses a Unisoc T610 processor. On the software front, the Spark 8C runs Android 11 Go Edition out of the box.

In terms of imaging, the Spark 8C features a dual-camera setup. The camera module includes a 13MP main camera and an AI lens. The rear-facing camera has features such as AR stickers, time-lapse mode, HDR mode, AI scene recognition, and bokeh mode. On the front side, the device features an 8MP selfie camera.
The smartphone houses a 5,000mAh battery. Connectivity-wise, the device has features such as dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB port. The smartphone also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Dimensions-wise, the handset measures 164.57x76x8.95mm.
Tecno Spark 8C Availability
Tecno has not announced the pricing of the Spark 8C. The device is currently being listed on Tecno’s Nigeria and Thailand websites. The smartphone comes in Diamond Grey, Iris Purple, Magnet Black, and Turquoise Cyan colour options. Tecno has not announced any details regarding the global availability of the Spark 8C.
