Two New OPPO Foldable Smartphones Could Launch This Year To Compete With Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, Fold 4

OPPO is reportedly working on two new foldable smartphones which are expected to launch soon. The brand introduced its first foldable device dubbed the OPPO Find N back in December 2021. As per the latest report, one of the upcoming OPPO foldable smartphones will adopt a folding design similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series. Besides, the report also reveals a few key specifications of the upcoming OPPO foldable phones. Let us take a look.

OPPO To Launch Two New Foldable Smartphones Soon

As per the latest report from Digital Chat Station, OPPO is working on launching two new foldable smartphones to compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4. In terms of form factor, one smartphone is expected to adopt a clamshell fold design, and the other one will reportedly feature a book-like folding design.

The report further suggests that the smartphone with a clamshell folding design has been codenamed Dragonfly. However, the actual moniker of the device is not known yet. The smartphone will reportedly offer a 120Hz refresh rate. The brand might also adopt a new hinge structure when compared to the current foldable model. Further, the brand is also said to be working on reducing the thickness of the upcoming OPPO foldable smartphones.

Meanwhile, OPPO is also currently working on a successor of the Find N smartphone, which will reportedly be named the OPPO Find N 2. As for the specifications, the smartphone could offer a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of form factor, we can expect the device to be optimized for weight and thickness as compared to the current model.

OPPO is also reportedly working on launching a series of high-performance flagship devices. The smartphones are expected to arrive in the second half of 2022. The upcoming OPPO smartphones are said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon and MediaTek Dimensity processors.
