Upcoming Realme 9 Series Smartphone Confirmed to Feature 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM6 Sensor

The Realme 9 series currently comprises the Realme 9 Pro, 9 Pro+, 9i, 9 5G and the 9 5G SE. The brand is now gearing up to add a new smartphone to the lineup, possibly the Realme 9. Realme 9 May Be Among the World’s First Smartphones to Feature the Samsung Isocell HM6 Sensor

The upcoming Realme 9 series phone will be among the world’s first smartphones to feature the Samsung ISOCELL HM6 Image Sensor. The new image shooter comes with NonaPixel Plus Technology that is upgraded from the traditional 3Sum-3Avg solution to an unprecedented 9Sum readout solution. When compared to the previous generation Samsung ISOCELL HM2 image sensor, it is claimed to increase total light intake by 123 per cent.

Realme promises that this latest edition to the realme 9 series will combine the in-sensor ultra-zoom technology of the HM6 sensor with a merging process to produce breathtaking zoomed-in photos with great detail.

The Realme 9 Moniker had previously been spotted on Realme’s website under the spare parts price section, indicating an imminent launch. In addition, prior to the debut, a leak disclosed the Realme 9’s storage, RAM, and colour possibilities. The Realme 9 4G is supposed to be available in two variations – 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Colour options for the phone could include – Sunburst Gold, Meteor Black, and Stargaze White.

The Realme 9 5G packs in a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz sampling rate and a peak brightness of 600 nits. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Mediatek’s Dimensity 810 chipset with up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. The smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Fueling the device is a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
