Vi Expands Its 4G Network In Uttarakhand And Western UP

Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) has improved its 4G experience In Uttarakhand and UP West, the company claimed today. Up to this point, Vi has installed the incredibly effective 900 MHz spectrum on more than 3,100 sites and the 1800 MHz band on 10,295 sites in Uttarakhand and UP West.

Vi is the most capable telecom service provider in Uttarakhand and UP West thanks to its access to 56.2 MHz of the spectrum, across bands including 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, and 2500 MHz. Vi says it is dedicated to providing the greatest customer experience to its subscribers in Uttarakhand and UP West. It has deployed a 900 MHz band spectrum on 4G in the two states to offer greater voice clarity and a pleasant indoor experience.

During a visit to Dehradun, Abhijit Kishore, Chief Operating Officer, Vodafone Idea, said, “I would like to extend an invitation to pre-paid and post-paid mobile phone users in Uttarakhand and UP West to enjoy a superior, upgraded 4G experience on the Vi network. We have undertaken multiple initiatives over the past year to widen our 4G coverage in the circle, as well as strengthen indoor network coverage across cities. Vi customers can choose from a bouquet of choice plans that allow every member of the family to do more and get more on Vi’s 4G network.”

For Vi customers in Dehradun, Hardwar, Haldwani, Rudrapur, Roorkee, Agra, Meerut, Bareilly, Aligarh, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Mathura, Firozabad, and other major towns in the region, this has significantly enhanced cellular coverage. By refarming the spectrum in more than 15 towns and 10 districts, the company has also been upgrading all 3G clients to 4G and enhancing 4G capacity.
