Back in April this year, Vivo had launched its first foldable phone—the Vivo X Fold. Now, a new leak suggests that the smartphone maker is working on a second foldable.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, and as seen by Chinese publication IT Home, Vivo’s next-gen foldable phone will be equipped with a dual-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the foldable display. Meanwhile, other key specifications of the upcoming Vivo foldable remain unknown.

Vivo X Fold Features
The predecessor of the upcoming Vivo foldable, the Vivo X Fold, has a 6.53-inch AMOLED cover screen while the inner display is a folding 8.03-inch LTPO AMOLED E5 display. The foldable has ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensors for the outer as well as inner displays.
The Vivo X Fold is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Furthermore, it comes with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

As for imaging, the foldable sports a Samsung GN5 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS. It also has a 12MP zoom camera with f/2.4 aperture, a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide snapper with OIS and f/2.2 aperture, and an 8MP periscope shooter with 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom capabilities. It also has one selfie camera each on the outer as well as inner screens.
The Vivo X Fold packs a 4,600mAh battery under its hood with 66W wired charging. The foldable also supports reverse charging.
