Vivo V23 Series India Launch Set For January 5

Vivo has officially confirmed the launch date of the Vivo V23 series for the Indian market. According to details shared by the company via Twitter, the Vivo V23 lineup will launch in India on January 5, 2022. The teaser image revealed by the brand also confirms that the upcoming Vivo V23 series will include a dual selfie camera. As per the rumoured details, the Vivo V23 series will include two devices, namely, the Vivo V23 and the Vivo V23 Pro. A past leak had already revealed the key specifications of the upcoming Vivo V23 series.

Vivo V23, Vivo 23 Pro Specifications (Expected)

According to a recent leak, the upcoming Vivo V23 series will arrive as a rebrand of the recently announced Vivo S12 lineup. The vanilla Vivo V23 model is rumoured to pack an octa-core Dimensity 920 processor. The device, when launched, may be available in 8GB/12GB RAM options along with 128GB/256GB of internal storage. The smartphone is rumoured to run Android 12 out of the box with FuntouchOS 12 on top. The handset also might offer 4GB Virtual RAM support.

As far as the optics details go, the vanilla V23 variant is expected to feature a 64MP triple-camera setup. The camera model could also include an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front side, the device is rumoured to house a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The rest of the key features which the device might offer include a 4,500mAh battery, 44W fast charging support, 4G VoLTE, and a USB Type-C port.

Coming to the Vivo V23 Pro specifications, the handset is rumoured to come with Dimensity 1200 SoC. The device might feature a 108MP main camera at the back and a 50MP dual selfie camera. The smartphone is tipped to come with an octa-core Dimensity 1200 processor.
