Last month, Vivo launched the Vivo V23 5G and Vivo V23 Pro 5G handsets in the Indian market. Now, the brand has another handset under the V23 series dubbed Vivo V23e 5G in the country. The latest V-series handset is the cheapest in the Vivo V23 series and comes with decent specifications. The smartphone offers an AMOLED display, a 50MP camera setup, and a 44MP selfie shooter.
The Vivo V23e is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity processor and a 4,050mAh battery unit. Similar to other handsets, Vivo’s main focus with V23e is the design and looks, and hence it comes with a Fluorite AG glass design. The V23e 5G comes in a maiden memory-storage configuration—8GB + 128GB and is priced at ₹25,990. It is already available for purchase via Flipkart and the Vivo India Online Store. As a launch offer, Vivo is also offering a ₹2,000 discount on all the purchases made through HDFC Credit and Debit Cards.

Under the hood, the V23e 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor and a Mali G57 GPU. The Dimensity 810 is built on a 6nm fabrication process and powers several other mid-range handsets such as POCO M4 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 11T 5G, and Realme 8s 5G. The system on chip brings with it 8GB of LPDDR4X and 128GB of storage. The latest V-series device comes pre-loaded with FunTouch OS 12, based on Android 12.
In terms of optics, the V23e offers a triple-rear camera setup and a dual-tone LED flash. The primary shooter on the device is a 50MP sensor with an F2.0 aperture. Accompanying it is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an F2.2 aperture. There is also a 2MP super macro lens with an F2.4 aperture on the handset. It relies on a 44MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.
The V23e 5G is equipped with a 4,050mAh battery unit and 44W fast charging support. It offers a Type-C charging port, a (hybrid) micro-SD card slot, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack, so audio is also routed through the Type-C port and the company is also bundling an adapter (Type-C to 3.5mm) in the box to make up for it.
The V23e 5G comes in two colour options—Sunshine Gold and Midnight Blue. The Midnight Blue colour variant measures 160.87 × 74.28 × 7.32mm, whereas the Sunshine Gold colour variant measures 160.87 × 74.28 × 7.41mm and weighs 172grams. In terms of connectivity, it offers Dual-SIM, 5G, 4G, WiFi (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO.
