Vivo V25 5G India Launch Happening On September 15, To Feature 64MP OIS Main Camera And 50MP Selfie Camera

After teasing it for a while, Vivo has finally confirmed that it will launch the Vivo V25 5G on September 15, 2022 in India. The company had launched the Vivo V25 Pro last month, which was followed by the release of the Vivo V25e in the Malaysian market. The Vivo V25e is launched as a lighter variant of the Vivo V25 Pro. Let us take a look at what the launch teaser reveals about the upcoming Vivo V25 smartphone.

Vivo V25 5G Launch Date, Specifications

Vivo has released an official teaser revealing that the Vivo V25 be launched on September 15, 2022 at 12PM. Based on earlier teasers, the smartphone is expected to arrive in two colour options, including a colour-changing Fluorite AG Glass back in blue colour and black model. The Vivo V25 has already been introduced in a few countries last month. Hence, the specifications are already available. Let us take a look.

The Vivo V25 5G will feature a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED with a 2,400×1,080 pixel resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Powering the smartphone will be an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 6nm processor coupled with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. The smartphone will be launched with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The internal storage on the device will be further expandable via microSD card.

In terms of software, the Vivo V25 will run on Android-12 based Funtouch Operating System. For photography, the smartphone will offer a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calling, the device will feature a 50MP front camera. When it comes to the battery, the Vivo V25 will be backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.

Connectivity features on the upcoming Vivo V25 5G will include 5G SA/ NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and a USB Type-C port. For security, the smartphone will carry a fingerprint sensor. Once launched, the smartphone will be sold via Flipkart, vivo.com, and various offline stores.
