The landing page of the Vivo V25 series of smartphones is now live on Vivo’s website in India. There will initially be two devices, namely the Vivo V25 and Vivo V25 Pro, with a third device in the reckoning. The Vivo V25 Pro was first teased by player and ex-captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli, on social media. Now that the official rear look of the Vivo V25 Pro has been revealed by the company, we can say for sure that the blue device teased by Kohli was the top-of-the-line V25 Pro.
Vivo V25 Pro: Confirmed Specifications
Vivo has revealed some key aspects of its latest smartphone. It comes with a Sailing Blue coloured rear panel with changing colour technology, similar to what we saw in the Vivo V23 series. The Vivo V25 Pro is touted to come with a single-piece narrow frame and a 3D curved display to enhance its appeal. The device will sport an OLED display with a 120Hz screen refresh for a smoother UI and gaming experience.
The Vivo V25 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, which is based on the TSMC’s 6nm fabrication process. It is the same processor that does duty in the recently launched OnePlus Nord 2T. Furthermore, the Vivo V25 series will support virtual RAM expansion up to 8GB.

It will also make use of hybrid stabilisation to improve the output even further. Vivo has teased Super Night Portrait, Bokeh Flare Portrait, and Vlog Movie as some of its camera features.
The Vivo V25 Pro will be powered by a 4,830mAh battery under its hood coupled with 66W FlashCharge fast charging support. The Vivo V25 and Vivo 25 Pro are expected to launch in August 2022. According to rumour mills, the Vivo V25 Pro’s base variant could be priced under ₹40,000 in the Indian market.
