Xiaomi launched the Redmi A1 smartphone in the Indian market last month. Today, the brand has introduced the Xiaomi Redmi A1 Plus smartphone. The device is being introduced in Kenya and it is available for sale via the e-commerce portal Jumia. When it comes to the specifications, the Redmi A1 Plus is an entry-level smartphone that comes powered by a Helio A22 processor. The handset features a 6.52-inch HD+ display and packs 2GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage. The device has a fingerprint sensor on the rear and an 8MP camera.

The Xiaomi Redmi A1 Plus is priced at KSh 10,345 (roughly ₹7,100) in Kenya. The device comes in Light Blue and Black colour options. The device is available for purchase in Kenya via the Jumia website. As of now, Xiaomi has not shared any details regarding the phone’s global availability.
