After multiple leaks and rumours, Vivo has officially announced the Vivo V25e smartphone in the Malaysian market. The Vivo V25e is a lighter variant of the Vivo V25 Pro which debuted in India a few weeks back. When it comes to the specifications, the newly launched V25e is equipped with MediaTek’s 6nm octa-core Helio G99 chipset. The smartphone features a 6.44-inch AMOLED display, 8GB of RAM, a triple-camera setup, and a 32MP selfie camera. The device has an in-display fingerprint sensor, 4G VoLTE support, a microSD card slot, and 44W fast charging support.

Vivo V25e Pricing, Availability

The Vivo V25e comes in Sunlight Gold and Diamond Black colour variants. The device is priced at RM 1,399 (roughly ₹24,915) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The smartphone is available for pre-order via Vivo’s official website and other retail stores in Malaysia.

The Vivo V25e sports a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ 2404 ×1080 pixel resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display panel has up to 1300 nits brightness, 103% NTSC color gamut, and a U-shaped notch that houses the selfie camera.

On the software side of things, the latest V-series device boots Android 12 OS with FuntouchOS 12 on top. Powering the smartphone under the hood is an octa-core Helio G99 SoC. The device ships with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The smartphone features a triple-camera setup comprising a 64MP camera that has an f/1.79 aperture and OIS support, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The smartphone relies on a 32MP camera for selfies. The whole package draws power from a 4,500mAh battery that has 44W fast charging support.

The rest of the key specifications of the Vivo V25e include an in-display fingerprint sensor, microSD card support, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone measures 159.20×74.20×7.79mm and weighs 183 grams.
