Alongside the Vivo S12 and Vivo S12 Pro smartphones, Vivo also unveiled the Vivo Watch 2 in China. The latest smartwatch from Vivo comes with eSIM support and supports standalone calling. It has a 46mm dial, and features a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen. It has a stainless steel casing and is water-resistant up to 5ATM. It also features always-on-display functionality. The latest smartwatch from the Chinese smartphone maker makes use of an ST processor and an Apollo processor. It has 2GB of built-in storage which can be used for storing about 400 songs.
The Vivo Watch 2 packs an optical heart rate sensor and blood oxygen monitoring sensor. It also has a host of sensor for monitoring activities such as accelerometer, gyroscope, air pressure, altitude, and geomagnetic sensor. There is also an ambient light sensor on the smartwatch that adjusts the brightness automatically depending on the ambient light.
The latest Vivo smartwatch is capable of tracking 47 sports modes including outdoor running, indoor running, outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, pool swimming, mountain climbing, trail running, elliptical machine, and free training. The watch packs a speaker and a microphone for voice calling. It is also water-resistant up to 5ATM.
It lasts for up to 14 days on a single charge as per company claims. However, with e-SIM usage, it would typically last for 7 days. It measures 46.4 × 46.4 x 10.95mm and weighs 47grams. Connectivity options include LTE, Bluetooth 5.2 LE, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, and GALILEO.
The Vivo Watch 2 comes in three color variants—black, white, and silver. It comes with a flexible skin-friendly rubber strap and users also have an option to go with a breathable fine Nappa leather watchband. The Vivo Watch 2 is priced at RMB 1299 (approx ₹15,330) and will go on sale starting December 29 in China.
