Vivo is preparing to launch a new foldable smartphone, dubbed the Vivo X Fold S. The smartphone is said to come as an updated version of the Vivo X Fold which was launched back in April 2022. The X Fold was introduced as the company’s first-ever foldable, and will reportedly be succeeded by the upcoming Vivo X Fold S. The key specifications of the device recently surfaced online. Now, a new leak has popped up suggesting that the Vivo X Fold S will arrive in September.
Vivo X Fold S Rumoured Specifications
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Vivo foldable will be launched under the moniker “Vivo X Fold S” and the smartphone will be introduced in September this year. Based on previous reports, the smartphone is said to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The device will most likely come with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.

To recall, the Vivo X Fold features an 8.03-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone offers a quad-camera unit with a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide angle camera, a 12MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP periscope telephoto lens. The device also features a 16MP selfie snapper. The Vivo X Fold is powered by a 4,600mAh battery unit.
