Vivo has launched a new budget handset under the Y-series in the Indian market. The latest Y-series handset, the Vivo Y01, is an offline-centric device and comes with an affordable price tag. The handset offers a large LCD display and an 8MP rear camera. The latest Vivo handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 processor and a 5,000mAh battery.

The system on chip brings with it an integrated IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU and is fabbed on a 12nm manufacturing process. The handset boots FunTouch OS 11.1, based on Android 11 Go Edition.
