Vivo has launched a new Y-series smartphone—Vivo Y15A—in the Philippines. The Vivo Y15A is an affordable smartphone that comes with a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display, HD+ resolution, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the Vivo Y15A is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 processor. The rest of the features of the smartphone include a 13MP dual-camera setup, an 8MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. Let us take a look at the detailed specifications of the Vivo Y15A.

Vivo Y15A Pricing, Colours

The Vivo Y15A comes in Mystic Blue and Wave Green colour variants. The device is priced at PHP 7,999 (around ₹11,934). As of now, Vivo has not announced whether it will launch this smartphone in India or other parts of the world.

The Vivo Y15A flaunts a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen has a water-drop-shaped notch to include the selfie camera. The brain of the device is the MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor, and it is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device also features a microSD card slot. The smartphone runs Android 11-based FunTouch OS 11.1 software.

Moving onto the cameras, the device features a dual-camera setup at the back, which consists of a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The rear-facing camera has Panoroma, Portrait Mode, Live Photo, Time-Lapse, Pro, and Documents modes. Selfie can be captured using the phone’s 8MP front-facing camera. The dimensions of the device are 163.96 x 75.2 x 8.28mm and it weighs 179g.

Connectivity features of the device include a dual-SIM card slot, dual-4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a microUSB port, OTG support, FM Radio, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The other features of the Y15A include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and it supports 10W charging.
