Vivo has launched the Vivo Y21e, the company’s latest Y-series smartphone in India. The newly launched Vivo Y21e features a 6.51-inch HD+ display and is equipped with Qualcomm’s octa-core processor. It packs 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Y21e flaunts a dual-camera setup at the back. The handset ships with a 5,000mAh battery. The Vivo Y21e comes with a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display that has HD+ 1600 × 720 pixel resolution. The display panel has a standard 60Hz refresh rate and a water-drop-shaped notch which includes the selfie camera. Powering the device is an octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor. The handset packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device also has a 0.5GB Virtual RAM support for better multitasking. The storage can be expanded on Y21e beyond 32GB via a microSD card support.
As for security, the device features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device sports a dual-camera setup on the rear side. The camera module includes a 13MP main camera and a secondary 2MP lens. The 13MP sensor has an f/2.2 aperture, while the 2MP sensor has an f/2.4 aperture. The rear-facing camera offers photography and video features such as Portrait mode, Panorama, Live Photo, Time-Lapse, Pro mode, and Documents.
On the front side, the device features an 8MP selfie camera. The handset comes with connectivity features such as dual-SIM card support, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, OTG support, FM Radio, and a USB Type-C port. Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery that has 18W fast charging support. Dimensions-wise, the device measures 164.26×76.08×8.00mm and weighs 182 grams. The handset boots FuntouchOS 12 out of the box.
