Vivo is planning on expanding its Y-series lineup of smartphones. It will be dropping its new Vivo Y35 device soon in the market. The device will be slotted above the Vivo Y33T smartphone, which was launched recently. The handset was spotted on multiple certification websites and a synthetic benchmark platform, Geekbench, hinting that the launch is imminent.
Vivo’s latest mid-range smartphone also made an appearance on the Indonesia Telecom website, thereby confirming its Vivo Y35 nomenclature. The model number was also confirmed by TKDN and EEC websites. Furthermore, the Geekbench spotting revealed its chipset+GPU combo, RAM, and operating system, among others. Let’s have a look at its leaked specifications below.
Vivo Y35: Specifications (Rumoured)
The Vivo Y35 will be a mid-range smartphone and will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset. The graphics duty will be handled by the integrated Adreno 610 GPU. This chipset doesn’t support 5G connectivity but supports 4G VoLTE. The Snapdragon 680 powers devices such as the Redmi Note 11, Oppo K10, Realme 9i, Motorola Moto G42, Vivo T1 44W, and many more.
If synthetic benchmark tests interest you, the Vivo Y35 reportedly managed to secure 1788 points in the single-core operations and 5972 points in the multi-core operations on Geekbench. Don’t expect exhilarating performance from this chipset, as it may struggle to even maintain 40fps in games such as Call of Duty and BGMI/PUBG. This device would be apt for someone looking for a smartphone for simple daily tasks.
