Vivo has silently introduced a new Y-series smartphone, the Vivo Y52t, in China today. The newly launched Vivo Y52t is a budget-oriented smartphone from Vivo and it brings some upgrades over the Vivo Y52 which debuted last year. When it comes to the specifications, the Vivo Y52t sports a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s octa-core processor and packs 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Furthermore, the device features a dual-camera setup and offers 10W charging support.
Vivo Y52t Pricing, Availability
The Vivo Y52T is priced at CNY 1,299 (roughly ₹14,800) for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage retails for CNY 1,499 (roughly ₹17,000). The device comes in Peach, Blue, and Black colour options. The handset will go on sale in China starting September 19, 2022. As of now, Vivo has not shared any details regarding the global availability of the device.

The Vivo Y52t flaunts a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display that has HD+ resolution. The screen has a standard 60Hz refresh rate and 600 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the device is equipped with MediaTek’s octa-core Dimensity 700 chipset. The smartphone packs 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

The device also has microSD card support for storage expansion up to 1TB. The device features a dual-camera setup. The camera module includes a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary lens. For selfies and video calling, the handset relies on an 8MP camera. As for the software, the Y52t runs Android 12 out of the box with OriginOS Ocean on top.
The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery that has 10W charging support. The rest of the key specifications of the Vivo Y52t include a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor support, 5G, dual-SIM card slot, Bluetooth v5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, and GPS.
