Vivo Y54s With 6.5-inch IPS LCD Display, Dimensity 700 Launched: Price, Specifications

After introducing the Vivo Y15A and the Vivo Y50t smartphones a few days ago, Vivo has launched yet another smartphone in the Y-series: Vivo Y54s. This mid-range smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display and it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. The smartphone has a water-drop-shaped notch at the top of the display to accommodate the selfie camera. It has a dual-camera setup at the rear and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Let us take a look at all the specifications of the Vivo Y54s.

Vivo Y54s Pricing And Availability

The Vivo Y54s is priced at CNY 1,699 (around ₹19,800) in China. The device comes in two colour variants: Lake Blue and Titanium Gray. The device can be purchased in China from Vivo’s official website. It is unclear if Vivo has any plans to introduce this mid-range smartphone in India.

The Vivo Y54s has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and an 89% screen-to-body ratio. For added security, the device has face unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. The smartphone packs 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

The device also has 2GB of virtual RAM. On the software front, the Vivo Y54s runs OriginOS 1.0 UI out of the box which is based on Android 11. The handset also has a microSD card slot for further storage expansion.

Moving onto the optics department the Vivo Y54s has a dual-camera setup at the back which consists of a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The rear-facing camera offers photography features such as night scene mode, portrait mode, panorama, time-lapse photography, slow-motion video shooting, and 1080p video recording. On the front, the device features an 8MP selfie camera.

The whole package is driven by a 5,000mAh battery that has 18W fast charging support. Connectivity features of the device include a dual-SIM card slot, 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
