Western Digital has unveiled its WD Black SN770 NVMe SSD in India. The brand’s latest SSD is targeted towards gamers and is said to feature quick load times, smoother streaming, and reduced in-game lags during intense gaming sessions. The WD Black SN770 NVMe SSD comes with up to 5.1GBps read speeds and support for PCIe Gen4 systems. The base variant, with 250GB storage, is priced at ₹4,749 , the 512GB variant is priced at ₹6,789, and the 1TB variant is priced at ₹12,709. The brand has not yet revealed the pricing for the 2TB storage variant of the WD Black SN770 NVMe SSD, but we can expect the price to be revealed soon. The first three variants have already been made available on Amazon.in and select retailers, including Prime ABGB, themvp.in, PC Studio, Kryptonite Microsystems and M D Computers and can be bought right away.

WD Black SN770 NVMe SSD Specifications
The WD Black SN770 NVMe SSD features read speeds of up to 5150MBps and write speeds of up to 4900MBps via the PCIe Gen4 x4 interface. Gamers relying upon the older PCIe Gen3 systems need not worry, as the WD Black SN770 NVMe SSD offers backwards compatibility (at lower speeds, of course).
According to the company, the WD Black SN770 NVMe SSD is aimed at gamers who need an optimum gaming experience. The SSD is said to offer smoother game streaming, reduced in-game stutter, and backwards compatibility. Western Digital further claims that the WD Black SN770 NVMe SSD offers 20 percent increased power efficiency when compared with its predecessor.
