Western Digital, a reputed manufacturer of storage solutions, has introduced its WD SN570 NVMe SSD in India. It will succeed the popular WD SN550 and bring some improvements. Streaming platforms like Youtube have given rise to content creators in India. The company wants to cash in on the opportunity by providing portability and faster data speeds to such users.

Western Digital says that the new WD Blue SN570 NVMe SSD can provide up to 3,500 MBps (500GB/ 1 TB) read speeds, which is five times more than SATA type SSDs. The 1 TB model can reach up to 3,000 MBps sequential write speeds. The hard drives are also more energy-efficient in comparison to the SATA SSDs. The WD Blue SN570 comes with a BiCS5 112-Layer TLC flash paired with the PCIe 3.0 interface against the 96-Layer BiCS4 TLC flash of its predecessor. The drive comes with a single-sided PCB on all capacity variants.
The WD Blue SN570 comes with a Western Digital SSD Dashboard. This application enables you to update its firmware and check other functions. You can also download the Acronis True Image software via Western Digital’s support page that allows easy, quick, and free of cost data backup. That’s not all, the WD SN570 comes with a one-month membership to Adobe Creative Cloud apps and services like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and InDesign.
Western Digital Blue SN570 NVMe SSD Price and Availability
The WD Blue SN570 NVMe SSD is available in 250GB, 500GB, and 1TB memory capacities. The entry-level 250GB variant is priced at ₹3,899 and will be available for purchase via select retail outlets and Amazon.in. The company bundles a 5-year limited warranty with all the variants.
