As of late, WhatsApp has been developing several improvements and rolling them out one at a time, giving users new experiences. Through the Google Play Beta Program, the messaging service is currently pushing version 2.22.18.13, which offers the option to restore deleted messages. The company has been working on this feature for some time, and with the most recent beta version, it is finally being made accessible to a small section of beta users. The feature was first spotted by WABetaInfo.

With this new undo option, you will have a brief window of time to halt the operation, allowing you to retrieve the message and, if you want, remove it universally. Given that it has so many additional consequences, this functionality has been a highly requested feature. Currently, it is being rolled out to a small number of beta testers. We can anticipate a wider rollout of this function for regular WhatsApp users in the next few days.
