Microsoft has announced the launch of a new tablet taskbar for Windows 11. The company has started testing the new taskbar, designed primarily for tablet users. The new taskbar will allow more screen space to users when used in a smaller collapsed state by showing only critical information such as the time and date or network and battery status. The new taskbar will provide a clutter-free experience by hiding app icons, search, Widgets, and the Start button. The new settings will allow more screen space by automatically hiding the taskbar when the device is being used as a tablet. You can swipe up to reveal the full taskbar and see the hidden widgets, Start button, search, and app icons. The icons will appear bigger this time, making it easy for you to touch.
Besides the taskbar changes, users will get to experience a more personalized feed soon. After new changes, widgets will be available on the feed.
This should make it easier for you to discover and engage with new widgets and news content through your feed. This release focuses on making widgets discoverable from the feed, and over time we plan to make the feed even more personalized.

Furthermore, the latest Windows 11 test build will enable users to snap the most relevant windows next to each other by selecting from the three most recent Microsoft Edge tabs available in snap assist. The software giant is also testing 37 new emojis in Windows 11, including troll, beans, and melting face. The emojis will also be available for Android and iOS platforms via the Emoji 14.0 update.

The new Windows 11 features are currently being tested, and it can take months before they are available for public use. Users can expect more features to be introduced to Windows 11 in the coming months.
