Xiaomi 12 Lite Specifications And Design Revealed Ahead Of Launch

In the past, there have been a series of leaks and rumours surrounding the launch of the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G. The device has finally been made official on Xiaomi’s Azerbaijan Instagram handle, and is available for pre-order. Meanwhile, the company’s official website does not mention anything about the smartphone. The Instagram post also reveals the design, specifications, and features of the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Lite. Let us take a look.

Xiaomi 12 Lite Available For Pre-orders: Specifications, Features

Xiaomi’s Azerbaijan Instagram handle recently posted the pre-order details of the Xiaomi 12 Lite. As per the post, the device can be booked till July 8, 2022 via the company’s official website for the country. Surprisingly, there is no mention of the device on the website. We can expect the brand to update the pre-booking details on the site soon.

Furthermore, the post also reveals some key specifications and features of the device, alongside the design. The Xiaomi 12 Lite will feature a 6.55-inch 120Hz refresh rate OLED panel with HDR10+ support. Powering the device will reportedly be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, which will likely be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. In terms of software, the Xiaomi Lite 5G will boot Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box.

For photography, the smartphone will offer a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 32MP front camera. Coming to the battery of the device, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will be powered by a 4,300mAh battery unit with support for 67W fast charging over a USB Type-C port.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite is expected to be priced around ₹24,000 to ₹30,000 in India. The device will most likely make its global debut in July and is expected to arrive in the country sometime in Q3, 2022.
