Xiaomi teased the launch of their flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 12 Pro, last week. The device had already made its debut globally last month and now it’s time for the India launch.
Although the brand has not yet announced a date for the phone in their teasers, we think the launch will happen within the next two weeks. At the moment, Xiaomi is only teasing the ‘Pro’ model for the Indian market.
Xiaomi 12 Pro Specifications
The Xiaomi 12 Pro packs a 6.73-inch Full HD+ AMOLED LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel has Dolby Vision, HDR10+ certification, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and has up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS3.1 internal storage. It runs Android 12 and MIUI 13 on top right out of the box.
In terms of optics, the Xiaomi 12 Pro also gets a triple setup on the rear with a Sony IMX766 sensor, which is coupled with a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide-angle sensor and another 50MP JN1 sensor with a 2X Portrait lens. The phone also packs a 32MP sensor on the front for selfies. The Xiaomi 12 Pro is powered by a 4,600mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
