Xiaomi 12T Tipped To Arrive With Dimensity 8100 Ultra SoC, 108MP Triple Camera Setup: Features

Xiaomi is said to be preparing to launch the Xiaomi 12T and the 12T Pro in global markets. While the smartphones were spotted on various certification websites, a couple of new leaks reveal even more details about the upcoming Xiaomi 12T handset.

XiaomiUI has spotted some specs pertaining to the Xiaomi 12 repo on a github account called MiCode, which houses device source codes shared by Xiaomi. According to the leak, the Xiaomi 12T 5G will be powered by the Dimensity 8100 Ultra. Additionally, tipster Mukul Sharma states that internal testing of the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro are already underway in regions in Asia and Europe. Thus, the 12T series may arrive in the coming months.

Xiaomi 12T Expected Specifications

As per the report, the Xiaomi 12T will be powered by a Dimensity 8100 Ultra processor. It will come in 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configurations.

Additionally, the smartphone will come with an improved screen resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels. It will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Furthermore, the Xiaomi 12T is reported to feature a triple-camera setup comprising a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor, an 8MP Samsung S5K4H7 ultrawide angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The primary camera will come with a 1/1.67-inch sensor. The smartphone will also have a 20MP Sony IMX596 sensor for selfies.

As for the battery, the Xiaomi 12T could feature 120W fast charging support. Additionally, it is rumoured to feature NFC and OIS support. It is reported that the smartphone could launch in September.
