Xiaomi 12T Pro With 200MP Camera, Xiaomi 12T With 108MP Camera Launched In China: Price, Specifications

Xiaomi has launched its latest Xiaomi 12T series that includes the Xiaomi 12T and the 12T Pro. The latter is actually one of the first smartphones to feature a 200-megapixel camera after the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. The smartphones launched in Europe featuring the latest flagship Snapdragon chipset and a host of high-end features. 

Xiaomi 12T Pro Specifications And Features 

The Xiaomi 12T Pro features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution and 446ppi. The display has a 120 Hz refresh rate that can switch between 30, 60, 90 and 120 Hz modes. This is a 12-bit display with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support and 900 nits peak brightness. Protecting the display is a Gorilla Glass 5. 

The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and coupled with either 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The handset runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12. 

The smartphone’s camera is the most impressive. It’s the brand’s first smartphone to feature the new Samsung ISOCELL HP1 camera sensor. It is 1-inch in size and 200-megapixel on board that is binned 4-in-1 or 16-in-1 to deliver sharp, crisp imagery. The high-res sensor allows 2x lossless digital zoom, 8K video recording, and HDR10+ video. Additionally, there’s OIS and advanced features like eye-tracking and motion-tracking autofocus. 

The other camera modules include an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. On the front is a 20MP selfie camera housed in a punch-hole cutout. 

Furthermore, the Xiaomi 12T Pro features a large 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The company claims that the phone can be charged to 100% in just 19 minutes. 

Xiaomi 12T Specifications And Features 

The Xiaomi 12T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC and is coupled with up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on MIUI 13 with Android 12. 

The Xiaomi 12T features the same display as the Pro variant, a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1220p resolution and HDR10+ certification. The display has a variable 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate with 900 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. 

The Xiaomi 12T features the 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM6 1/1.67” sensor with OIS and f/1.7 aperture. This is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera and 2MP macro camera. At the front, it has a 20MP selfie camera. 

The 12T also features a 5000mAh battery. It comes with 120W fast charging. 

Xiaomi 12T, Xiaomi 12T Pro Pricing And Availability

The Xiaomi 12T is priced EUR 600 (roughly ₹48,300) for the 8/128GB variant. Meanwhile, the 8/256GB variant is priced at EUR 650 (roughly ₹52,000). 

The Xiaomi 12T Pro is priced starting EUR 750 (roughly ₹60,400) for the 8/128GB variant while the 8/256GB variant is priced EUR 800 (roughly ₹64,500). The 12/256GB variant is priced EUR 850 (roughly ₹68,500).

Both smartphones will be available from October 13 through official Xiaomi channels across Europe.
