Xiaomi recently launched the Xiaomi 12S series of smartphones in China. The series consists of three smartphones—the Xiaomi 12S, the Xiaomi 12S Pro, and the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. Now, the brand is reportedly preparing for the launch of the Xiaomi 13 series of smartphones. Hence, we can expect the upcoming Xiaomi flagship smartphones to arrive sooner than expected. Xiaomi 13 Series Launch Timeline, Specifications (Expected)

According to a report by tipster Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 13 series is expected to launch later this year in China. The report further suggests that the smartphone will likely be introduced globally early next year. The tipster has also revealed some key specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi 13 series of smartphones.

Based on the report, the smartphone will pack in the next-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Notably, Qualcomm is expected to host its annual summit for the Snapdragon 8 Gen in November. Hence, it is being anticipated that the Xiaomi 13 series will be launched around the same time of the year, hence the expected launch timeline.

Commenting on the battery capacity of the device, the tipster said that the upcoming Xiaomi 13 series smartphones will be backed by a single-cell battery. He further adds that the devices will come equipped with a self developed charging IC with support for 100W fast charging 50W wireless charging. It is also expected that the brand will include the Surge P1 chip, which is currently the only 100W single-cell chip solution in the industry.

Based on previous reports, the company is expected to launch the Xiaomi 13 series smartphones with Leica-tuned cameras. The upcoming Xiaomi flagship smartphones are also expected to feature 2K 120Hz AMOLED displays and ceramic backs made by BYD.
