Xiaomi has launched its new Q2 Series of smart TVs, succeeding last year’s Q1 series. The TV is available in 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch sizes. The TVs sport a bezel-less design and a high screen-to-body ratio. Additionally, they support Dolby Vision IQ which automatically adjusts the brightness and contrast according to the room’s lighting conditions.

The Xiaomi TV Q2 comes in three sizes—50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. It sports a 4K QLED display with a refresh rate of 60Hz. It covers 92% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. Additionally, it can display 1.07 billion colours, thanks to 8-bit + FRC (Frame Rate Conversion) technology.

The Xiaomi TV Q2 supports MEMC technology, which is touted to optimize the picture quality by intelligently converting content to higher frame rates. This will ensure that fast-paced scenes appear smoother. Additionally, the TV supports Dolby Vision IQ, which makes use of Dolby Vision metadata and an ambient light sensor to automatically adjust the brightness according to the lighting in the room.

The TV is powered by a quad core MediaTek MT9611 (A55) processor with Mali G52 MP2 GPU. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. As for connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, three HDMI ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Ethernet. Furthermore, the TV sports an aluminium frame with a strong metal base.

When it comes to audio, the Xiaomi TV Q2 comes with two 15W speakers. The TV also supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for a cinematic experience. The device includes Google TV support as well as Mi Voice remote with Google Assistant. It also comes with built-in Chromecast and Miracast.

The Xiaomi TV Q2 Series 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch models cost 599 Euros (around ₹48,650), 699 Euros (around ₹56,765), and 899 Euros (around ₹73,010) respectively. It is currently available for sale in Europe.
