The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has started receiving the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update in India. It is based on the Android 11 operating system. The Redmi Note 9 Pro was the first Redmi series smartphone to get the Android 11 update in India, but that’s certainly not the case with the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update. Nonetheless, the update is finally here and it brings the latest Android security patch along with a host of new features and optimizations. The Redmi Note 9 Pro MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Stable update comes with firmware version MIUI 12.5.2.0.RJWINXM and the OTA update has a download size of around 711MB.

You should note that the Redmi Note 9 Pro MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update is being rolled out in phases. Android OEMs follow phased rollout for software updates to minimize the impact of critical bugs. Due to this, the update may or may not be available on your handset right away. The company might take up to a couple of weeks to release the update for all Redmi Note 9 Pro users in India.
