Xiaomi Redmi Pad Specifications Leaked, Reveal 2K 90Hz Display And Helio G99 Processor

Redmi is reportedly preparing for the launch of its first-ever tablet, dubbed the Redmi Pad. A promo image of the device was recently spotted on Xiaomi’s Kuwait Instagram page. The post revealed the moniker as well as the rear design of the tablet. However, the promo was later taken down by the brand. As per the latest update, complete specifications of the upcoming Redmi Pad have surfaced online, courtesy of a German publication, WinFuture. Let us take a look at the details.

Redmi Pad Leaked Specifications

According to the publication, the Redmi Pad will feature a 10.6-inch 2K LCD screen that offers a 90Hz refresh rate, a 10-bit colour depth, and up to 400 nits of peak brightness. The tablet is said to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor coupled with an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The upcoming Redmi Pad is expected to arrive in 3GB/4GB RAM variants with 64GB/128GB UFS 2.2 storage.

For photography, the tablet might offer an 8MP rear camera with autofocus capability. For selfies and video calling, the device will feature an 8MP front camera, which is expected to come equipped with FocusFrame technology that utilises the 105-degree field of view. When it comes to the battery, the Redmi Pad is reported to be backed by a massive 8,000mAh unit with 18W fast charging support.

In terms of connectivity, we might get options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB Type-C port. Other primary features of the Redmi Pad might include quad Speakers and Dolby Atmos support. On the software front, the upcoming Redmi tablet is expected to boot Android 12-based MIUI Pad 13 out of the box.
