After launching its IoT products such as smart LED bulbs, a vacuum cleaner, and a water purifier, Xiaomi has launched its Smart Standing Fan 2 in India. The summer season is over in most parts of India and the monsoons have arrived. Xiaomi’s Smart Standing Fan 2 can provide the necessary cooling in such conditions without the need for an air conditioner. Also, it would be a good addition to new age smart homes. Xiaomi Smart Standing Fan 2: Features, Specifications

The Xiaomi Smart Standing Fan 2 weighs around three kilograms and comes with height adjustment feature. It can be placed on the floor or on a table according to your preference. The fan is advertised to come with a silent operation owing to its BLDC motor and dual fan blade design. The brand says that it comes with an operating noise level of 30.2dB and 55.9dB of maximum airflow noise. Furthermore, the BLDC motor uses copper wire for enhanced longevity when compared to aluminium wire.

The fan gets a unique 7+5 wing-shaped blade, which promises to deliver a natural breeze and three dimensional airflow. Xiaomi’s Natural Breeze Simulation Algorithm helps to provide a gentle airflow. However, you can switch to direct blow mode for a powerful airflow. Moreover, it comes with about 100 speed levels, which can be accessed via the Xiaomi Home app.   

Being a smart product, it can be controlled via Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. The app allows you to set a child lock to prevent kids from accessing its settings. Xiaomi’s smart fan can be dismantled easily for cleaning purposes. Assembling it again is an easy six-step process.

The Xiaomi Smart Standing Fan 2 is available for a special pre-order price of ₹5,999 in India. It is available on the Mi India website and will start shipping from July 19, 2022. It comes in a single white colour option.
