Xiaomi Announces New Watch S1 And Buds 3T Pro TWS: Price, Specifications

At the Xiaomi 12 series smartphone launch, Xiaomi also announced the new Watch S1 and S1 Active, along with the Buds 3T Pro. The Watch S1 series is the brand’s attempt to make a premium smartwatch, essentially replacing the current Mi Watch. The company also launched a new pair of Truly Wireless earbuds called the Buds 3T Pro.

Xiaomi Watch S1 And S1 Active Specifications

Both the Watch S1 and the Watch S1 Active come with a 1.43-inch circular AMOLED panel, all packed into a classic and streamlined design, with sapphire glass and a stainless-steel frame housing. The Watch S1 series comes with classic leather straps or fluoro rubber in various colors. The Watch S1 comes in two colour options, black and silver, while the Watch S1 Active comes in three vibrant colour options with six choices of coloured straps.

The Watch S1 series runs Xiaomi’s custom RealTime OS (RTOS), which is essentially a barebones operating system that is lightweight. The brand has been making RTOS-based wearables for a while now, including the Xiaomi Band series and the Xiaomi Watch Lite series. These watches come with the usual sensor suite that includes a heart rate sensor, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, atmospheric pressure sensor, ambient light sensor, and a capacitive sensor for wear detection.

The Watch S1 series gets support for 117 workout modes, a speaker and microphone for calling over Bluetooth and Alexa voice assistant, GPS for outdoor runs, and an NFC payment facility in select markets. These watches come with a 470 mAh battery that gives you up to 12 days of battery life. The battery can be topped up fully in under two hours with the supplied magnetic charger.

Xiaomi Buds 3T Pro Specifications

The Xiaomi Buds 3T Pro is the company’s latest pair of truly wireless earbuds. These come with 10mm dual-magnet dynamic drivers on either side. These have Bluetooth 5.2 and dual-device connectivity, along with support for the LHDC 4.0 audio codec. The Buds 3T Pro also offers up to 40dB of hybrid active noise cancellation with three ANC modes. These also get a transparency mode that can be tweaked using the companion app.

The Buds 3T Pro can also create a 360° soundscape with head tracking, something that Apple, Samsung, and Sony are currently doing on their flagship TWS buds. The buds come with IP55 dust and water resistance rating, are lightweight, and have a plastic build. These have a standalone battery life of up to six hours on a single charge and 24 hours with the charging case.

Xiaomi Watch S1 Series And Buds 3T Pro Price

The Xiaomi Watch S1 comes in a black and silver colour option with matching straps and is priced at $269 (approx. ₹20,700). On the other hand, the Watch S1 Active comes in Moon White, Ocean Blue, and Space Black colour options with matching straps. The Active version of the watch costs $199 (approx. ₹15,300).

The Xiaomi Buds 3T Pro comes in Carbon Black and Gloss White colour options, and is priced at $269 (approx. ₹20,700). Both these products will go on sale soon in the European markets.
