The Acer Swift X 2022 is rumoured to launch with the first Intel ARC GPU, according to a report by Videocardz. Previous leaks suggested that that the new GPU may not be launched until the second quarter of 2022. However, latest rumours hint that the Acer Swift X 2022 powered by the Intel ARC GPU could be launched today at CES 2022. CES 2022 commences today, and is set to showcase various hardware such as phones, laptops, and gadgets.

Acer Swift X 2022 Features
The Acer Swift X 2022 is expected feature an Intel Alder Lake-P U28 CPU as well as an Intel Arc DG2-128EU GPU. Acer’s new ultra-thin 14-inch laptop appears similar to its predecessor, the 2021 Acer Swift X laptop that was launched in India back in September. It sports a thin bezel design. However, the 2022 version could feature two USB Type-C ports compared to a single USB Type-C port seen in the Acer Swift X 2021. The chassis on the Acer Swift X 2022 will use the secondary USB Type-C connector in place of the power plug
The 2021 version came with the AMD Ryzen 5000 series CPU and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU. The 2021 Acer Swift X was also the world’s first laptop to sport Intel’s Iris Xe graphics.
The Acer Swift X 2022 appears to be missing a fingerprint scanner, but it is reported that it could utilize the power button as a scanner instead. Besides the regular hardware components, it also features a USB and HDMI port.
Apart from the Acer Swift X 2022, the company will be showcasing the Acer Predator Helios 300, Predator Triton 500 SE, and Nitro 5 2022 at the CES event this week.
