Bharti Airtel on Monday unveiled Xsafe, an end-to-end home surveillance system, adding to its suite of broadband services. The surveillance service is available across 40 cities in India and offers a range of Wi-Fi based advanced cameras.
The Airtel Xsafe surveillance system includes multiple smart Wi-Fi based security cameras that feature motion detection, ability to talk back to folks in the house, and a 360-degree field of view. The Xsafe app also sends real-time warnings if the camera detects some motion and sends notifications to check your feed. There’s also perimeter zoning, simultaneous viewing, in-built device alarm and more smart features.

The footage is end-to-end encrypted to ensure privacy. You can download and share video clips as well.
Airtel Xsafe: What’s On Offer?
The suite of cameras include a sticky cam that comes with a magnetic base and countless placement options. There’s also a 360 degree camera with zero blindspots. Lastly, there’s an active defence camera that comes with two powerful spotlights. This one’s dust and water resistant with seven-day tamper proof footage and HD quality night vision.
The sticky cam costs ₹2,499 while the 360 degree camera costs ₹2,999. The Active defence outdoor camera costs ₹4,499. In addition, there’s an installation cost of ₹300, ₹300, and ₹600 respectively. Airtel offers a subscription service of ₹999 per year for the first camera, and ₹699 per year for additional cameras.
Customers also receive the first month of subscription free of cost when they pay the annual fee of ₹999. There’s also a 3-month doorstep service which will be available at ₹699 per year. The service is available across 40 cities in India including Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata.

Additionally, customers will have access to a dedicated AI powered Airtel Xsafe App and world-class Airtel installation and after-sales support,” Vir Inder Nath, CEO, Homes, Bharti Airtel, said.
Airtel claims the surveillance system offers customers complete peace of mind keeping them connected to their homes even when they are away.
