Akai 4K TVs With WebOS, HDR10 Support Launched In India,

Akai has added a new range of webOS televisions to its portfolio in India. These smart TVs come in 32-inch, 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch screen sizes. They offer up to 4K display resolution, HDR 10 support, Dolby Audio, magic remote, ThinQ AI, and MEMC, among other features.

The new Akai televisions come with a bezel-less design. The televisions sport LCD panels with display resolutions from HD to 4K, depending on the model you choose. The display supports HDR 10 and HLG. It also comes with features such as 4K Upscaling and MEMC for a smoother watching experience. Furthermore, the TVs pack in ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), which would be beneficial if you hook up the TV to a gaming console or a gaming PC. 

The Akai televisions run on LG’s webOS platform and offer a clean user experience. It is intuitive and provides quick access to your frequently used applications and also offers discovery suggestions based on your search pattern. The TVs also make use of LG’s ThinQ AI to engage in a two-way conversation and analyse the user’s habits and patterns to provide personalised content. 

The webOS TVs come preloaded with streaming apps such as Apple TV, Netflix, Zee5, Sony Liv, Voot, UFC, Disney+ Hotstar, Prime Video, and Zee5, among others. The televisions come bundled with a magic remote that gets dedicated Netflix and Amazon Prime buttons. Its click wheel allows you to navigate through the user interface with ease. You can also voice control the TV via the magic remote. That’s not all, the TVs come with Alexa built-in. 

The new Akai TVs are equipped with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage to load your favourite apps and other content. Some other notable features include dual-band Wi-Fi, two-way Bluetooth v5.0, screen mirroring, internet explorer, and Dolby Audio support, among others. 

Akai webOS 4K TV: Price, Availability

The top-of-the-line Akai 4K webOS TV 55-inch is priced at ₹39,990 in India. The brand is yet to announce the pricing of the other models.
