Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos Launched in India

Amazon had already been selling a bunch of Fire TV Stick video streaming devices in India. Today, the company introduced a new and enhanced version of the Fire TV Stick 4K in the country. The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is the latest addition to the company’s lineup. Amazon says that its new video streaming device is 40% more powerful than its predecessor, thanks to its faster processor and more RAM compared to the regular Fire TV Stick 4K. Similar to the Fire TV Stick 4K, the Amazon Fire Stick 4K Max comes with support for Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. The company had recently launched the Fire TV Cube (2nd Gen.), Echo Show 2nd Gen., Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen.), and the Echo Show 10 (3rd Gen.).

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max Specifications, Features

As the name suggests, the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max comes with a 4K resolution video playback and streaming. It supports HDR, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos audio. Under-the-hood, the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is equipped with a quad-core MediaTek MT8696 processor (clocked at 1.8GHz) with the IMG GE8300 GPU (clocked at 750MHz). The faster chipset is paired to 2GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is also the company’s first streaming device with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) connectivity. Users get an option to pair it with speakers, headphones, video game controllers as it features Bluetooth 5.0. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max features an HDMI output port and a micro USB power inlet port. It comes with the third-generation Alexa Voice remote. It can be used to operate the Fire TV Stick 4K Max via voice commands. The remote features hotkeys for Alexa, Prime Video, Prime Music, and Netflix.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max price in India is ₹6,499. Amazon.in listing reveals that the product will go on sale starting October 7, 2021, in the country. However, the e-commerce giant has already started accepting pre-orders for Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max in the country.
