For those who are unaware, the Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale is the company’s biggest sale and is held annually in the months of September and October, parallel to Flipkart’s Big Billion Day Sale. The Great Indian Festival Sale began in October last year but will start sometime in the next two weeks this year.
The start and end dates for Amazon’s Great Indian Festival Sale in 2022 are yet unknown. However, given that the company has already begun teasing the upcoming sale, we may expect to learn the final dates very soon. Flipkart is rumoured to begin its sale on September 23, 2022, and Amazon may follow suit.

The banner for the upcoming Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale discloses that customers who use State Bank of India cards for payments will receive additional discounts. The banner advertises an additional 10 percent discount, which may equal at least ₹1,500.
