Answers to FAQs About OnsiteGo Protection Plans
Q 1) I purchased a phone on Amazon last week. Can I buy the damage protection plan?
A. Unfortunately, the OnsiteGo Damage Protection Plan has to be purchased on the same day you buy the device. However, you can buy the OnsiteGo Extended Warranty plan which covers all the defects and malfunctions covered in a standard manufacturer’s warranty. The Extended Warranty plan can be purchased up to 6 months from the date of purchase of the device/appliance.
Q 2) Are the OnsiteGo plans only applicable on devices purchased online?
Q 3) I purchased an iPhone from US, which I am currently using in India. Am I eligible to buy the Extended Warranty plan?
A. Unfortunately, the OnsiteGo plans are only available Pan-India for now. We only cover devices and appliances purchased from anywhere in India.
Q 4) After buying the OnsiteGo plan, how do I activate it?
A. Once you buy our plan from Amazon or the OnsiteGo website etc you will receive an e-mail along with the OnsiteGo kit that comes via courier with all the details about the activation process. All you need to do is click here, fill in the necessary details and submit. Once this is done, you will receive a Certificate of Protection from us via e-mail. This is required when your device/appliance needs repair post the manufacturer’s warranty period. We’d recommend you activate the plan at the earliest, to avoid any hassles at the time of repair.
Q 5) My Extended Warranty plan will end in 2 months. Can I extend it further?
A. The OnsiteGo Extended Warranty plan can only be purchased once for up to 5 years on all the devices and appliances (except phones and cameras). This includes, your manufacturer’s warranty period. For instance, if the manufacturer’s warranty period is 2 years, you are eligible to buy the OnsiteGo 3 Years Extended Warranty Plan. Similarly, if the manufacturer’s warranty period is 1 year, you are eligible to buy the OnsiteGo 4 Years Extended Warranty Plan.
