Apple Announces Apple TV 4K With A15 Bionic Chip: Price, Specifications

Apple just released its new generation of Apple TV 4K as the successor to the 2021 model. This new Apple TV 4K comes powered by the A15 Bionic chip and supports HDR10+ along with Dolby Vision, bringing rich visual quality to more TVs.

Apple TV 4K (2022) Price

The new Apple TV 4K is being offered in two options; the 64GB Apple TV 4K (Wi-Fi) model which costs ₹14,900, and the 128GB Wi-Fi + Ethernet model, which costs ₹16,900. Both models are currently available for pre-order through the Apple India store and will go on sale starting November 4, 2022.

Apple TV 4K (2022) Specifications

The new Apple TV 4K is powered by the A15 Bionic chip that is up to 50 percent faster than the previous generation’s chip in terms of CPU performance, and up to 30 percent quicker in terms of GPU performance. For a more immersive experience, the streaming box now supports HDR10+ in addition to Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital 7.1, and Dolby Digital 5.1.

Additionally, it comes with a Siri Remote, a touch-enabled clickpad that offers quick navigation of Apple TV’s clean, sophisticated user interface. The new Apple TV 4K comes with the tvOS 16 operating system, which will be officially released on October 24. The biggest new feature in tvOS 16 is the revamped Siri for TVs, which makes it simpler for users to engage with the device and operate Apple TV with their voice.
