Apple tvOS 15.5 Update Released: New Features List

Alongside the release of iOS 15.5, iPadOS 15.5, and macOS Monterey 12.4, Apple has also rolled out tvOS 15.5 to all users. The latest update comes with minor improvements and no significant changes.

Apple has not mentioned all the features that tvOS 15.5 will bring in its release notes. So, we can speculate that the update should offer some performance improvements for the Apple TV Operating System. It could be accompanied by some bug fixes, and small under-the-hood tweaks. Since the tvOS 15.5 beta testing did not reveal any new features, there’s still no clarity on what improvements the update brings.

tvOS 15.5 is the fifth major update to tvOS 15 which rolled out in 2021. tvOS 15 had brought with it SharePlay support, audio improvements, and Shared with You feature, among others. The latest tvOS 15.5 update follows tvOS 15.4, which introduced support for captive WiFi networks.
